Chips: 5,913 | | | Re: buddy list add. there are so many decisions to make in limit, that if you make more right than the next guy you win, but the short term variance is much much higher because of these many marginal situations. The good news is that if you are winning 60% of your sessions in limit, you are really really good, the bad news is that you are losing 40% of your sessions.
The biggest advantage IMHO, is that the economy of limit is much slower to go bust compared to NL, and lots of players are slight losers but don't realize it. They just keep slowly bleeding money over the long term instead of hemoraghing (sp?) it and quitting.
despite all of that I still think NL is more profitable online right now. |

Haha. (But true.)
BTW, I thought you were a NL player? |

Now live, home games, I play more limit in cash games than NL/PL but its a wider variety (HE, Omaha, Stud, 3xDraw, etc).
Anyone know of any 3rd party software for P* buddylists? I know UB has something and I thought PP had something. I had a list of folks I would sometimes search out for in PLO8 but its such a waste for NLHE. |
