Chips: 34 | | | Microtable peeve Ok, so I only have a few dollars (literally) on P*, I'm just messing around with it. I sit down at the 6 max .01/.02 tables. It's a total mixed bag, like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, but mostly weaker players. There is always one dude that thinks he's a pro and laughs at everyone's play. YOu then remind them their stack wouldn't buy a a #9 meal at the MacDonalds drive-thru. One guy kept laughng at me when i would fold on the turn or river to his overbet, 9 out of 10 times I'm on a straight/flush draw and am priced out (even though it's only a few cents I'm not playing like a total donk). He then tells me he only had ace high, I tell him, oh good, you had me beat, he then says no you made a bad play by not reraising me out. Now, if I was at a table where I could easily pop another $20 on the table I'd play that game (well not totally, if I have something I'd play it, but not when all I could beat was an 8 high hand). Since it's no easy thing ot get money online now, I play supertight aggressive, I'll limp in with connectors and see a turn and river if it makes sense. I just can't stand the talk at these microtables, most folks are polite, I like the european folks. It's the mouthy jerks, just a brief rant, I didn;t feel bad when this latest guy thought he'd play the all-in game with everyone, he rebought twice before finally figuring out that his "pro" method was being cracked.

Chips: 51 | | | Re: Microtable peeve I couldn't have said it better myself. I've encountered that I don't know how many times on the smaller stakes games ($11 tables) at Full Tilt.
I always tell that person that if they truly were THAT good, they wouldn't be wasting their time at such a small buy-in table. Their "skills" are worth at least $100 buy-in. They usually get a little more quiet after that. Not much, but a little. |

If you don't have the skills, then STFU. And if you don't have the bankroll, you're not going to make it by telling everyone what they are doing wrong, so STFU.
I don't chat much online, just have stats or info loaded at P*... Let the donks yap.
BTW - nice sig...

For micro stakes, it's simply not worth leaving chat on hoping to pick up "information" being shared by the rest of the table.

Maybe a TY if someone gives me a NH. I'm usually watching TV or playing 2 or 3 tables so i don't have time to read the chat. I was just playing at work for a bit, there was nothing to distract me.

Well I made a loose call and hit my K on the flop. Ended up getting it all-in when the turn brought an opened ended straight draw. I river a J and crack his AA.
This guy melts down and starts talking all types of trash to me, saying he wants to play me heads up 5/10. He's calling me names and goading me.
My response...
"Whats the point of it? Just take your beat like a man."
Well that set him off pretty bad, and he kept saying how he was going to get his money back from me. That's when I told him.
"I'm going to take your $50 and light it on fire." Then I logged off.
Mr. Pro couldn't keep his mouth shut long enough to get his money back. Right before I left he ran the big stack off and was whining about that. I feel like the kid in Sixth Sense.
...I see d-bags. They don't even know they're d-bags.
