And the hero does what now?

No real read on hero. He's been here about 15 hands or so and PT says he a 26/0.

Saw Flop | Saw Turn | Saw River | Saw Showdown | Won

PokerStars Game #7919249166: Hold'em No Limit ($0.50/$1.00) - 2007/01/13 - 17:11:59 (ET)
Table 'Ophelia IV' 9-max Seat #8 is the button

BB - $102.55
UTG - $110
HERO - $91.45
MP1 - $107.45
MP2 - $39.60
MP3 - $19
Button - $60.05
SB - $18.95

PREFLOP ($0.50/$1.00)
HERO is UTG+1 with K K
UTG calls $1
, HERO raises $3 to $4
, 1 fold, MP2 raises $6 to $10
, 5 folds, HERO raises $6 to $16
, MP2 raises $23.60 to $39.60, HERO ?

Re: And the hero does what now?

Looking at his starting stack of $39, probably not too happy, and a little desperate. Theres only one hand better than yours, and he may have it...Id call and just be glad he was'nt pushing the raise to $100

Re: And the hero does what now?

The fourth raise usually means aces. Be wary.

$13 to win $55. if there's 10% chance he doesn't have AA you're fine.

so...is there 10% chance he doesn't have AA? clearly, imo.

Re: And the hero does what now?

btw, you sorta put yourself in this situation when you min 3-bet, right? planning ahead, you must have known that if he pushed you had to call.

Actually, isn't it like 23.60 to win 58.10 which is just under 2.5:1?

Re: And the hero does what now?

i'm not folding, probably ever. He has a small stack, and you have KK, you're getting about 2.5-1, even if he has AA you are sucking out 20% of the time, so unless you can put him on AA about +80% of the time you are +EV to call.

I don't know that I have ever played online with anyone that I could for sure give credit for AA on that third raise. Shove it in and hope to see QQ, AK, JJ or the other KK.

if you see AA get your rant and moan out at the closest person about how big of a cooler it was.

He ended up having TT

Your thoughts are basically what went through my mind. Against a bigger stack, I probably fold here. That being said, twice this month I've been stacked with KK vs AA so I'm a bit more gun shy then usual.

Off topic, how did you end up last night? I ended up about +90 or so for the hour or so I played.
