Personally, I wouldn't open a gmail account until I knew for certain that it is not vulnerable. We still don't know exactly how the security breach occurred, do we?
I contacted my poker sites this afternoon and asked if it's possible to restrict withdrawals on my account to checks sent to my home address.
So far, Neteller is absolving themselves of all responsiblity in this matter. What we need is somebody who wasn't using GMAIL and had the same security breach to help figure out who dropped the ball. Actually, right now I just want my money back...

making me glad that I have multiple emails accounts and the most secure one is my neteller contact. also glad that I chose to go with crappy yahoo mail which is still secure (as far as I know) for my other stuff.
aren't we glad that the government doesn't want to regulate this!?! yay!
