it'll save every hand you ever play, and break down data in 1000000000000000 ways, sorted by player, of course.
gametime ++ is free and works with it. will overlay data you select (for cash games).
PT costs $50 or so, but is free for the first 1k hands. dl it and try. it's forums are good for help, or try here, plenty of us use it. |

Pokertracker is a program that saves your HH's so you can review them later, track winrate, VPIP, aggression etc.
A HUD or Heads up Display is a program that will display your PT stats on other players at your table while you are playing. Some like them some don't, I usually have it on but don't pay to much attention to it to be honest. |

I've never used GT (gametime) so I can't comment on it other than its free.
My main use with PT/PA is for understanding my opponents and tracking my playing history (won/loss). At this point, I've only made limited use of understanding any leaks in my game. Mostly I've looked at the profitability of hands and such to identifying what hands I'm overplaying like AJ. |

Example: find a huge fish, collect some data that verifies this, add him to your buddy list, join his table every chance you get, wait for the right hand, bust him, repeat. I did this for a while and it actually becomes boring - works well though. |

While boring, my level of enjoyment goes up as my bankroll goes up and I'm having a great time this month (knock on wood) |

It looks like the kind of tool that will blow both PT and PokerOffice out of the water when it is finished. |

What is its claim to fame over PT and PO? |
