How do they get away with allowing US players? Or is this expected to be temporary only?

The legislation only puts restrictions on financial institutions funding online-gambling. Gambling online is only illegal if your local legislature puts a bill into law stating such...

I haven't been following this closely, but I understood that no finanical institutions operating in the US could transfer $$ to any gambling/poker sites. This would seem to put a stop to on-line gambling for all states (unless you already have $$ in a poker account).

I take it Paradise Poker no longer allows US players. It makes such a huge difference not having American players on a site. I started using Paradise about a year ago, and could usually find a good table. Now you are lucky if a cash table has 4 players. I have money sitting on that site and I never use the site any more because I like more players at a table.
