Some may have been disconnected. Others wait until the nut cases bust out by going all-in every hand.
Others enter, but forget to play or can't play.
If the free-roll is crazy enough, one of them could still make the money.
I have always been tempted to try it.

Gotcha.. so pretty much it's free so they don't take any of it seriously. I always hated to play for free. I'd rather put some money in, even if it's only a few bucks.
