Pretty run of the mill stuff.

The only one that jumps out at me is:

PRISMXL.SYS is used by gateway to remotely update your PC when on a service call. I did a little digging and it could possibly be used as a means of remote entry into your PC, but from the look of the other services.... You have a gateway PC that is running Media Center. So, most likely its legit and was installed by gateway.

A trick that my friend showed me is to open the processes list and google everything in it. Just type it in the search box and hit enter. Then click one of the links and they will likely give you a description and how big of a threat, if any, that process is.

Jamby, I am sorry to hear about your problems with Neteller.

I just closed my Neteller account after hearing your problems. I have deposited money in my account from my checking account which on occasion has quite a bit of money in it. I can't accept any risk to my balance.

I may well set up another account, maybe even in a different bank in the future for use with online poker.

This is pretty scary to me. I hope it comes out alright for you.

You and others might want to open a 2nd small savings account to link your paypal/neteller accounts (rather than your main savings or checking).
Keep this account at minimum balance. Then you can transfer funds from your main account to the small account via your bank login (account to account transfer (some account types have limits on this, so check with your bank 1st)).
Then you tie the small account (only) to your like paypal/neteller. This will keep your potential loss to a mininum should something like this happen.

I have to admit I only did this with paypal. I'm going to change my neteller ASAP.

Sorry to hear you lost your $$ to some punk ... Neteller probally wont be much help because its an on-line wallet, not a bank that is federally protected. I would take the issue up with your bank and try and get your funds back that way... Anything I can do to help let me know.

How on earth do you scrap your existing bank account link and add a new one. I can't find it anywhere!
