I appologize if this thread should have been on some other place in the forum, could'nt think of a more suitable section though.

Bought it for my MS Smartphone yesterday. I've been wanting to get a Hold'em game to play on the buss etc, but did'nt want to shell out too much. It cost me about $5 with the discount which is acceptable IMO.

I think it does what its supposed too, although I played a demo of another Hold'em game which had a better GUI (there you could click on the right arrow to check, down to fold and up to raise) - in this one you need to go through a menu to act which means a few unnecessary clicks. They have a demo so you can check it out, although the demo is worthless for anything else than checking the GUI since you can only play 5 hands before it closes and it won't remeber your settings.

In summary:

+ cheap
+ a fast playing speed is available
+ I'm no poker pro, but the AI beat me
- Not the best GUI, but could be worse
- on the small screen of my phone its quite hard to see difference on spades and clubs, a 4-color deck would be great


Its not perfect, but its cheap and I think it will keep me entertained when I'm on the go.

I use Crazy Birds All-in Texas Hold Em on my Treo and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it is that it was scaled down by the developers to fit on the square screen of the Treo, and sometimes it's hard to read the dollar amounts. Other then that, great game with different modes, games (tourney, ring) and a career mode with multi-table tournies. Good stuff.

I will gie this a try though, thanks for the headsup.
