Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

ECD was great for a while, but it all went south. I don't think you or anyone else be drawing any more water out of that well. In the end, PSO wins.

BTW, ECD and epokerdeals come from the same place, at the root.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

Are you sure they are connected? I wondered if there was any connection there, but I couldn't discern any.

I'm sure you are right about that well being dry, much as 'Tom' claims he's going to take care of everyone because he's such a stand up guy.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I believe Tom/ECD lives in New York and Epokerdeals is based in PA. While there may be some association, I don't believe they are the same entity.

I'm still waiting for him to right his wrong and send me the Amazon Gift Certificate I ordered in July. Instead I got a poker table I never wanted.

After months of being MIA he posted saying they are just going to comp everyone and close up shop. In his post he said "most people will get amazon gift certificates while others will get poker tables or chips". I specifically had an order in for a GC for 5 months and I randomly had a poker table show up at my door one day.

I complained in a post and he PM'ed after 2 pages of fun and he basically said he'd send me my GC if I'd keep quiet. I'M STILL WAITING TOM

A day later my post was "accidently deleted" and then a week later he closed the forums except for his two posts.

I got a set of tiki kings out of them, so I'm not really mad that I never got 600 pts for doing Hollywood .
I didn't see hollywood as a promo anywhere else so I gave it a shot. Maybe someday...
Love the tiki kings, though!

Yeah I thought that was very convenient that he just happened to misclick on your thread and 'accidentally' delete it. Funny, when I do that here as a mod, I can EASILY undelete it. Tom is obviously a liar and he pulled the same b.s. with me. Sent me a worthless tabletop without my permission or request and basically said tough sh*t.

I'd bet money you'll never see that gift certificate Scott.

epokerdeals and ecasinodeals are both based out of the same small town in PA. Both sites come from the same folks, though they are undoubtedly incorporated seperately.

"Tom" is based in PA, not NY.

BTW, I was an ECDer from the beginning. A 'one-time tourney winner', and a regular (not 'zeno', though).

I was disappointed in the way things went down. Lots of folks got screwed. I think some money got misappropriated along the way and customers took the bad end of it.

I shant be buying anything from epokerdeals. I think it's funny to follow some of the epokerdeals threads here and see that emails are 'lost', folks haven't gotten what they've been promised in a timely fashion, etc. Feels like the same old story...

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I think "Tom" used the recent anti-gambling legislation to his advantage in this whole mess as well. Timing sure was convenient for him to use as a cover.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I must say I got quite a bit of free stuff from ecasinodeals. 2 poker tables, 500 NJ skulls,a set of Tiki Kings (which I traded BDHALEY for Steeler helmet here on Chiptalk 750 chip mahogany case... It does seem that things ended on quite sour note and I feel badly that I encouraged some of you to join at what ended up being a bad time. In it's day though, ecasinodeals was quite good to me. I am still waiting for one final comp as well
