Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I received a set of Tiki Kings and a 100 chip add on for the Tiki Kings so I have 400 total in hand.

In mid July I ordered 1 more 100 Tiki King add on, as well as a KEM (Pre USPC) setup and two Copag setups. I haven't seen any of these items though. I haven't even received the cheesy table top! And I completed the comps in July. I signed up for the comps in June.

I was really hoping to get that last 100 Tiki chips before selling them, but oh well I am gonna have to make due with 400 chips.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

Same story, got a table top I don’t need instead of GCs that I wanted. Still waiting on a Tiki 300 set that seems to be less and less likely to appear.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

Just got an email from ECD though... So we got that going for us.

"Hello ECD Member: Thank you for your support of eCasinoDeals. As you know, we are no longer accepting comp submissions. We are still in the process of redeeming all banked comp points. This process should be complete by Jan 31, 2007. We have posted an email address in the forum for any concerns you may have. The decision to close ECD as you know it was based on many factors - and we thank you again for your patronage of eCasinoDeals. Please be patient for just a little longer, all banked points will be redeemed. Thanks and Happy Holidays. Tom"

Crazy timing.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

Yeah funny how that happens isn't it? As soon as the dust starts flying again, Tom seems to be able to find time to surface and say something. I still consider him a thief and scumbag and will until I get a GC to replace this useless/worthless tabletop as well as my other overdue comp.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I can confirm 100%, no question, that ecasinodeals and epokerdeals originate from the same group of people.

http://www.sbwire.com/companies/profile/1734

Long-time ECD-ers may be familiar with Robert Hemsch, Tom's boss.

So, for those of you still waiting for owed comps, perhaps it is fair to direct inquiries to epokerdeals.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

I guess that would explain why epokerdeals never answered my question in PM about whether they were affiliated with ECD

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

Yeah, the whole thing was just handled poorly. What's the number 1 rule when dealing with gamblers? Be honest. ECD was in a tailspin for months and we never got an honest take on why things went bad. The final decision to stick folks with surplus junk as an apology was terrible.

Meanwhile, the focus was clearly shifted to building epokerdeals. So how much of the affiliate royalities went into building that business instead of paying ECD's customers?

I think if folks were offered some kind of discount on gear through epokerdeals instead of leftover ECD stuff they might have felt better about things.

I sure would have, and I'd bet 95% of the others would have too. Getting some useless junk they didn't want in the warehouse and couldn't sell for half what the comp was worth is not acceptable.

Re: anyone else get ripped off by ecasinodeals?

The walls truly do have ears.

I just received my gift certificate from ECD.

I still don't like the way anything has been handled over the last 6 months, but thank you for coming through in the end Tom.

I need a thumbs up icon. Maybe I'll insert the avatar pic of Dajebriza's son.
