That really sucks... how'd you finish up?

Ouch, not nice. In the first ever NLHE tourney (about 4 years ago) we had at our home game, I was heads up, even in chips, and I lost with quad aces to end the tourney.

In fact the board was A,A,A,10,A me with a 10 in my hand, losing to my opponent who held Q,J.

Quite the way to end our first stab at Texas holdem

That does suck especially when you were drawing dead on the turn and then hit the 1 card on river that kept you around. Too bad it doesn't even qualify as a bad beat as you were never ahead once the flop was shown.

How'd the betting go especially given that it was a $980 pot at the 20/40 level. I can see you capping it preflop and maybe on flop but once the turn hit, I'm check calling. On the river, I have to know I'm probably chopping so why pump it too much.

I believe this is limit Omaha High, so the only way he loses, is if his opponent has 2d,4d, which , unfortunately.......

I was on the good end of this same F/T/R(except the 10 was a 7) in Vegas with KQ in hand. Opponent called my all in and turned over 5 3. He was very tilted and eliminated from tourny thinking it should be a chop pot. Even had to have Tourny Director explain to him why it wasn't......

high only - so the river was capped

one raise preflop (me) and one raise on the flop

turn - bet call (and we had a third there which is why the pot was soo big).

river capped

i came back to ~ 1800 in chips, but have been rivered several times (hey, it happens in limit Omaha high) and am shortstacked right now. Looking for any cooridinated hand to risk the game.
