Chips: 265 | | | Re: AKs against my better judgement. discuss I fold because of all the other early action. On the other hand, if you get a little lucky, you would be pretty dominant. Also, if you call, the initial raiser might fold and there might be a slim chance the 2nd raiser gets scared. But, I'm guessing its 3 way if you call. |

Chips: 5,913 | | | Re: AKs against my better judgement. discuss well in this situation you can't really afford to call and let the other two players come in so it is either all-in or fold. I think that since you are probably no better than a coin flip given the all-in players stats, and the other two players have reasonable enough stats that they may have a hand, AND the pot has already been raised three times, AND the other two players have large enough stacks to put you in bad shape......
I fold.
If you move in and 1) the others fold and 2) he flips up QQ, JJ or less and 3) you win the race, then it you are in great shape. Otherwise you go from chipleader to middle stack which is probably not what you are looking for here. If any of 1,2, or 3 above go wrong you are going to really regret tying yourself to this pot with AKs.
I usually have looser standards than a lot of you for calling all-ins because of my belief in continually accumulating chips, but I can't really find a compelling reason to move-in here. |

this is a multitable, so (as jim mentions) chip accumulation is important.
also, what if i told you (as was the case, although i'm not saying what i did yet) that no one had AA-JJ.
then what? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
