Exclamation Bodog

I bought in over there with my cash outs at PP, and PP888, wanted to play some football games, but while doing horrible picking games, ive done very well playing poker....Ive noticed something at this site that I RARELY see at the other 5 sites I have played at...last night for instance:

$50 buy in 70k guaranteed nlhe no rebuy tourney

entrants 1008...tell me if Im doing this wrong, but I see a $19.44 discount to the players, and a nearly 20k hit to bodog....am I wrong here?

I see alot of guaranteed tourneys at this site not make the buy in for the house to make what they need, that is great for the player, yes?

Cash Games: I play micro NL stakes and find the tables full of crazy young kids that talk alot and throw $$$ around like its thier fathers, yes Ive been stacked a few times, but on the whole the month and a half Ive spent here has been a great month!

the other day, I held the nuts and knowing my opponent for about 15 minutes, coaxed him into pushing his stack when I bet $2 into a $30 pot, it was sweet!...Honestly people, I dont think my play has improved that much in this short time span, I think thiese tables I speak of are full of fish.....

One more thought about something Ive yet to see at other sites

1.5k guaranteed free roll with rebuys:

you start with 1k and get 1.5k for $2 rebuys and 2k for $2 add....the prize pool never gets above 1.5k, with a max 0f 3500 players, finished 144th last night out of the $$$...is it correct to rebuy at this tourney? I nvested $4, two at the beginning and an add...should I just play this one for free?

BAD POINTS: no info on your position in tourneys, no info on amount of re buyers in tourney...

Re: Bodog

Yeah..Bodog is known for big overlays on their tourneys. Guess they make enough to afford it . I was in the 70k last night and busted out in 134th, just out of the money when I flopped a flush and got out drawn from a bigger flush. oh well.

Re: Bodog

SSSSSHHHHH!!!! Don't tap on the aquarium...

I have been on Bodog for over 7 months now and I don't get to play as much as I would like becuase I work so much and HAVE to spend some time with the GF! I made an initial deposit of $100 and started playing the $50 NL tables and have built a bankroll up to $740 now.

I am with you, I do have a lot of confidence in my game but I don't think it has improved that much. The amount of fish at the tables and what they will push on is simply amazing.

Last night a hand I remember

I raise preflop 3xBB with AK, one caller, and I have position

Flop comes K84 rainbow

He checks, I bet slightly less than half the pot and he pushes. I thought maybe he flopped a set, but with his loose play I had seen earlier I knew it deserved a call.
He turns over Q7s with no spades on the board! Exit left!

And this is typical play on Bodog
