I've played 4 SNGs today and in 3 of them I was taken out while holding AA

Let's see how the 4th one goes as I'm still playing.

Okay, just got knocked out of the 4th SNG on the bubble. Had AK unimproved against 77 but then I expect that sort of stuff.

I think I'll stick with my cash games from now on.

I've been playing HORSE tourneys lately...

Hach, my online play goes back and forth between cash games and SNGs. Its about 80% cash games, 20% SNGs. Every once in a while, I seem to get out of sync with cash games, and switch to SNGs for a while. Its hard to describe unless you've experienced it. Somehow, they balance out.

For me, your run in the SNGs would signal that its time to go back to the cash games -- which is exactly what you did. Again, hard to explain why this works unless you've experienced it. Gotta keep the Zen in balance.

Understood though I'm more like 90/10 cash vs tourney which counts the CT events; without them I'm more like 95%+ cash. Normally when I get "out of sync" its with one game or another so I'll rotate back and forth between NLHE and PLO8.

I normally don't play SNG's because of time committments but I'm home alone this weekend (yippee) so time isn't really an issue at the moment. On the bright side, I made the money back the .10/.25 NL tables

I rotate among cash limit, no limit and S&G's.
Sometimes I will play a MTT, but not very often, usually just our Thursday event.
