Re: P* Sunday Millions

sounds like you played well and had a good run. I will say this there are a lot more "pros" playing in that tourney than you think. Try several hundred at least. Between known tv stars that play, online pros, and the fact that it is the one sunday tourney that pretty much every live pro gets in on, you bet it is a pretty tough field.

That being said you are right that lots of donkeys play. I also have heard that most of the pros play extremely aggressive early on and try to build of big stacks or just go broke and move onto another tourney.

I wish I could afford to get in on those tourney's but the bankroll just can't support it right now.

great job Gun and thanks for the report.

vomit time

I entered the ID of the moron who busted me out:

Storeslem

here's what I hate about this. I throw away 33, 22, 44 all the time. If you don't flop a set, you have no idea where you stand in the hand.

if the flop comes A-K-Q rainbow, then sure, you represent a hand and you take it down, thanks to those scare cards.

he raises, I reraise with some deliberation, I thought based on his timing and his raise amount, he could be strong. I certainly had a good grasp of his patterns.

I reraised it and was all-in, he folds, I am 95% guaranteed to cash for $240. I'm probably 70% to cash for $400 in the next tier.

He doesn't fold and calls with his trash, flops a set and I have the miracle backdoor flush possibility. He turns a fourth deuce and I'm smoked. An incredibly stupid play is rewarded with about 28,000 tournament chips.

That fish lucked his way into 11th place out of 6600 entrants and cashed out for $5,526.80

a total sucker, a complete tool, five grand!!!!

that makes me sick.
