What do tehy care? | Where are they going to send all the uber cool P* gear to?
I wonder if that will be enough to work around the law if neteller shuts out US people.

1) i used FPP's to get a couple of iPod nano's from the store, and they automatically get shipped to whatever your address on file is, so it had to be correct
2) if you play satellites to land-based events (WSOP, WPT, EPT), then your address on file has to match your driver's license so that they can accurately complete a third-party registration on your behalf.
neteller has already said no more gambling dollars for americans. that said, your P* address wouldn't be the determining factor, but rather the address of the bank where the funds originated.

gw- | Well, the funds originate from neteller to P*, and they're in Canada. they are not a financial institution, and are not bound by any know your client rules.
Where and when has neteller addressed anything other than business as usual re: moeny to poker sites? I used them yesterday. I've seen nothing regarding this anywhere, including press releases....

One is Tracer.exe, if I'm not mistaken, and that would look at your IP address. It's one of the reasons why I can't download some shows from ABC, CBS, or Fox -- despite the fact that I may register with a US address, they can tell I'm accessing their site via a Canadian server. |
