Stars 180 SnG's - NEW 10+1

This may be old news to some, but I just noticed P* now has added a 10+1 180 person SnG to their line up (previously only 20+2 and 4+0.40). "This event runs daily from 7pm to 2am"

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to play in them yet but I expect good things.

BTW, "daily from 7 to 2" was how the $22 and $4.4 tournaments started too. As long as the're popular, expect to see them all day every day.

The time thing baffles me. Its not like you need to hire dealers, its a friggin computer! Why not run them 24x7??

the time thing is just to make sure people stay interested. stars doesn't want people signing up and waiting around for a game that never fills up. then they lose interest and stop trying to sign up and the tournament never becomes popular.

just a guess, really.

yeah, I figure it's like "generating buzz". I know when the $22's came out I was just WAITING for 1700h MST, like a kid at christmas!
