Bodog payout issues?

Has anyone recently requested a payout from Bodog? I requested one on Tuesday to get some of my roll out of there, and I received a confirmation e-mail on Wednesday stating that it was processed and would be in my bank account by Thursday. This morning I get this message:

We're sorry. We have just learned that due to an error with one of our processors, your withdrawal that was initiated on Tuesday, Oct 3, was not processed successfully. Our processor is now expediting all affected transactions and you should receive your withdrawal by either Friday, Oct 6th, or Monday, Oct 9th, depending on your bank.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay has caused and are working with our processors to ensure these types of errors do not occur in the future.
If you have any questions regarding this or any issue, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-263-0000.
Very best regards,
Bodog Customer Service

Anyone else having a similar problem? Needless to say, I find this more than coincidence as I have never had a problem with Bodog payouts before.

Re: Bodog payout issues?

I have always had good experiences with their payouts as well. I find it hard to believe it's associated with the new law though...it's not actually a law yet....

Re: Bodog payout issues?

I haven't had a payout from Bodog in a while, but the last one was by check. Which was odd, the bank it was drawn from, the company location, and the postmark, all in different locations.

That seemed "funny" to me when I cashed it, but then figured it was the norm anyway, as Bodog isn't a bank....

I'm very leery of giving banking information to anyone or any company, regardless of the reason. And my first online purchase was in 92 (maybe 93) so I've been doing it long before "security" was even thought of, and I STILL don't give out bank information.

They're probably having a rash of people withdrawing, and their bank is having a hard time keeping up, or maybe there are limits imposed on total dollar amounts transacted per day/week?

Don't think I'd worry too much though. *as conspiracy theorist though, always be a little wary*

Re: Bodog payout issues?

Update: I did receive the payout this morning (Friday), so there were no issues with my Bodog payout after-all....it appeared to be an honest error.
