Here is a list of members that voted in favor of a poker ban (aye), and who voted to protect poker (nay). Additionally we have listed those that supported a study commission into internet gaming and for good public policy.

To find your area / district (if you don't know), google "your state, voting districts" and you should find several references with your state and the district map.

From there you should be able to quickly see who voted for or against the bill in your state.

I urge everyone to contact their congressman and tell them you are no longer supporting them, as they have not done their job in supporting you, your rights, or your freedoms.

I was listening to Mr. Dingell when he spoke eloquently about his disappointment that this bill did not address security when it comes to mass transit, railroads, bus stations, and Amtrak. And when Mr. King got up to respond, he said the reason it doesn't contain any security for mass transit, railroads, bus stations, and Amtrak is because this is a port security bill. And he said it again. This is a port security bill. And he repeated it a third time. This is a port security bill.
So can he please explain to me if this is a port security bill, that we can't put protections and security for our buses and Amtrak and mass transit and railroads, how it is that we managed to put a ban on Internet gaming?

Those co-sponsors are listed there as co-sponsoring the other bill they're trying to introduce, HR 5474. The bill to do a study on Internet gaming. So, not a sponsor or co-sponsor of this port security bill.

I found it pretty amusing that Mark Foley cast one his final votes as 'Nay'. I'm guessing that he wasn't in favor of the government involvement in any transactions/communications via the net.

I noticed the same thing. I'm from MA as well. While this makes me happy..I also can't call up and b*tch at anyone!!
