What with the bill being passed and you not playing for a single day, its been a bad week for the industry.

You must have forgot to check the "I am LUCKY!" box when you signed up. It kinda looks like the "Yes! Please send me e-mails regarding, blah blah..." box, only this one lets P* know you're lucky. It helps them decide who wins and who loses. I'm not sure you can make money on Stars if you didn't check the box when you signed up for your account.

First hand, the guy had an open-ended straight draw, two overcards, and a backdoor flush draw.

Second hand, you had no chips left and he had the nut flush draw.

Have to agree with Yeltzen.

After the flop on the first example they saw it as a coin-flip with all their outs and don't blame them for their actions with the chip stack that NYC_PUMA had. You had them dominated pre-flop, crushed on the flop and you got your money in with the best of it which is all you can do. But hey you got unlucky, it happens everyone all the time.

As for the second example, if my opponent wants to call bets with only Ace high a backdoor flush I'd take that everyday as even if you held top pair before the turn they're drawing to 3 outs and your a huge favourite let alone drawing against a set. The turn did help them, but you still had the best of it when the money went in.

We should be grateful for bad beats and that our opponents are willing to put their money in the pot as a dog because in the long run you end up we'll come out winners.
