English at the table

I am playing on P* right now, and over half of the table is from Germany. They are speaking German at the table and I can't understand a lick. I'm sure there's a rule that covers this and we should probably be speaking english at the table, but would I be out of line saying it? I know they're probably making fun of me, b/c I told them that I don't speak German and they all replied, indicating that they speak english. I haven't helped matters by posting things in chat like "oh really" or "you don't say?"

Could there be any collusion? Just curious as to what you guys think. Here's some chat that I pasted from the game:

It all looks like meaningless talk aboutr a lesbian and spas.....that being said, it should be English at the tables.

My German's a little rusty, but it looks like they were pretty much ignoring you and having the typical "You suck" chatfest with each other...

Seriously, or do you speak some german?

It's kinda annoying, now EVERYONE at the table is speaking it except for me...

Oh well, I grew sick of it and called an all-in (with a caller already) with 53o, just to get out of the game. Thank god that my two-pair was beat by a set on the river...

How many times do people WISH they lost?!?!?!

I know a lot of B&M cardrooms have policies on this but I've not heard off one on the internet though.

I'm not sure about P* but a number of other sites I play, a message comes up in the chat window, before the games starts, that "Only English should be spoken at the table". I have had some French players chat in French and pointed out the message. If they continue I notify the site. For all I know they are colluding against me. If the site feels it's important enough to have a message appear before the game starts it is important enough for me to notify them of the infraction.

It's not that I'm mad that I can't understand them, I'm mad because it's blatantly disrespectful to everyone at the table. Not because I don't speak German, but because they DO speak english. If the whole table spoke french, that'd be cool, b/c I also speak french. Noone would be left out.

Thanks 1malt. Although I'd find it hard to report someone for a chat violation at a Play money table. I'm playing at a larger 10k tourney right now and some players are speaking german. They're of a different sort tho. They explain in english what is being said if I ask. They're even teaching me some german. Just a different feeling to the game, u know?
