9-handed table---last hand before a 15min break, blinds at 1500/3000 (still 270+ players left)
utg3 moves all-in for his remaining 20k....short stack, holding 4500, calls with 44. the pocket fours hold up agaisnt QJo.
I really hate that play. It kills me when people get down to less than 10x BB and start moving in with queen high. He put his whole tourney at risk, instead of just going to break. guy ends up losing several thousand chips with a trash hand. the guy right behind him used almost his entire time bank, to fold in between the two. bet he had 99 or AJ and would've won more with the side pot, than the main pot, if he had called. |

Chips: 3,610 | | | Re: WCOOP ME Just started I blew about $400 trying to win a seat. Finished 3rd in one double shootout and 4th in another. 11th in a $25 rebuy where the top 6 got in. So close, but no cigar. It makes since that if you can't win a seat you probably shouldn't be playing. One of these times I will qualify for a really big one and see how it goes. |

If you want a chance at winning the tournament, you can't just wait for a premium hand when you are short stacked. After the break, blinds will be even higher and your stack gets even less meaningful. Push now while you still have fold equity. It also plays in your favor that its the last hand before break because other people won't want to get knocked out right before break, increasing your chance of just taking the blinds.

Chips: 840 | | | Re: WCOOP ME Just started 202 people left. still some big name pros in the mix. JC Tran's in 11th and Marcel Luske just doubled up to about an average stack. D'agastino also hanging in at about average.
