Yeah this sucks real bad. I've been contemplating what to do with my online bankroll all morning. I wish we knew everything as far as withdrawls are concerned. Most everything I have been reading the last few weeks seems to be mostly about deposits.
I am only concerned if they decide to ban US players, and the sites just eat our money. As long as I can keep playing, I'll be happy.
I wouldn't think any large, reputable site is going to confiscate our funds... will hill and eurobet have both banned USA players within the past year and they sent emails and had a deadline to withdraw your funds.
I'm hoping pokerstars will start to accept epassporte. It's basically a pre-funded VISA card that is both virtual and physical. You fund your card via various methods and then can use it at any merchant that takes visa, also at any PLUS/VISA ATM.
I've heard rumors that there is a $360 withdrawal (from the poker site) cap but I'm not sure who imposes that limit. It may go up as you are a longer term customer. In any case, it wouldn't affect me, being a low-stake donk and all... if I'm running into that cap I can get over 2k in a week.
Anyway, if it's something you might be interested in, email 'stars support and ask that your name be added to the list of people requesting that payment type. There's no way the DOJ could make banks refuse to deal with them, they are a CC company that just happens to allow transfers to gambling sites. On the flip side, I've never found anything BUT gambling to use my Neteller account.
