Do any of you use a online advisor e.g. Texas Calculatem etc with playing? If so which one and why?

I've looked at those programs, but I do not use them while playing. I may go back and look at a hand after the tournament is over, but never while I'm playing. I prefer not to use them because I don't want to become too complacent. I want to try and calculate all odds mentally, as it helps prepare for my live game play.
I do use PokerTracker, but not one of the heads up display add ons. I use it to track my stats.

I agree with you regarding calculating odds in preparation for live play.

My boyfriend watches over my shoulder and tells me how I should play the hand.

I used one of those things when I was completely n00b, worst $30 I've spent on poker software.

What they help you with becomes second nature if you practice.

I do sometimes use Poker Indicator to help with the odds.
