Get QQ utg, raise, get reraised by a guy in MP. I cap, he hesitates then calls. At this point I'm fairly sure he has AA, who really hesitates there unless they're faking?

Flop TQT - Sweet!

I'm sure you're all expecting that a blank hits the turn and an A hits the river, right? Or I misread and he had pocket tens? No, my read was perfect, he had Aces, and the next two cards came off runner runner TENS. I checked the river, which he bet, and I typed "are you kidding?" before making the crying call.

Brutal, but all I can do is laugh. And type this post.

Half an hour later, QQ strikes again.
This one's not even a bad beat, dude was BB and had a monster draw on the flop.
I made this one the last hand of the night.
I wish I'd thought to grab the hand history of the other one too.

Sounds like the night I had... lately we have had some guys play at our game that well, how to put it nicely... suck, but are LUCKY. Got dealt nothing all night, Q6, 29, 5A... stuff like that we play 1/2 limit and every flop costs $4 because these guys just want money in the pot, they play any two cards pre-flop... I mean ANYTHING, they will raise to to cap blind. So twice I get AA and have it busted by some guys lucky river gut shot... sucks... I know your pain, at least tonight I do.

The beats I hate the worst are like this where the some stupid high kicker ends up winning the hand. I seemed to run into like with A9 vs 99 only to have the board end up KKQQ7 or something.

Let me share my QQ story. Had pocket QQ, and raise. I get one caller. Flop shows Q 10 6. I bet 1/2 the pot and he goes all in. All I can think is that he had AQ. KQ or KJ. I call, which leaves me about 30 chips out of 1500. He say I have him, he's bluffing. I turn over my trips, he turns over 34 offsuit. He catches runner runner 5 7 for a straight. I was out the next hand.
