Chips: 7,134 | | | Holy crap... Who's the person that told me to try 6-max limit tables? I want to shake your hand.
I'd say I'm running well, eh? I'll pretend it's all because I'm just that damn good. And handsome. |

edit: defend your blinds more. loosen up a little PF.

I decided to play 6-max just last night. |

Not donking on your play because you also have to be very aggressive and smart to make that much, but I typically have a VP of like 40% or so when I play six max. I defend blinds a lot and raise a LOT of stuff from late po. I think my BB/100 is like 5 or something but I haven't played it enough to have reliable data.
nice job though and Ed Miller claims that 6 max is much much more profitable, but he also says it is more difficult and takes practice to learn, I guess I am just playing weak tight with my roll because I have been sticking to full ring.... |

Chips: 7,134 | | | Re: Holy crap... The games I played this morning, I was playing too tight and not defending enough. But, it's my first 24 hour period playing 6-max, so there's definitely an adjustment from cramming ring play into my brain for 2 years.
Last night, though, I think I was right in playing very tight. The pot was capped preflop every hand. I don't care how bad the players are, calling four bets with QJo or KTo every hand is asking for trouble. |

Word on the street is that the real gambling fish swim in the 6max.... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
