Dont look as it as a dinky $10t, look at it as quite a few players that know each other and want to beat each other, BADLY. I am personaly just on the outskirts of this as far as knowing everyone, but I will say that if you read posts about poker strategy and disscuss hands on this board you will become a better player for it, I know I have... Ther are some real smart people on the site, Im glad Im smart enough to learn from them..I think the post of the donkish play is just nonesense, and Ill bet you a dinky $5 p* money that you dont finish in the the top ten this quarter, deal shang? |

If you see strange bets then the cat nip is probably kicking in. I've tried to get him to stop but he insists that he has everything under control. |

Beginner @ large MTT tournies. Intermediate single table SnG's. I've made probably 5X in cash games vs. my tournies online.
I'll take online poker vs. powerball any time or day of the week LOL
Either way, the profits are not enough to quit my day job - so in the end its all kind of moot

How about, "I play mostly for fun and can hold my own half of the time." |

Since I have played a fair bit and read (and understood) a few books, even experienced a bit of success along the way--albiet inconsistent--I figure I am not a beginner but only marginally better. I can lay down a big hand and I rarely call off all my chips, but I cannot hold my own MOST of the time and I am trying to improve each week.

By potential, I might be "very good". Going by my bankroll, "beginner" is more like it. |

I do not know my rate but I have been a constant winner so far.
So either I am very good or the others are very bad. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
