In any event, assuming the final hands were dealt out in that order, hatethoseAA had an open pair of threes showing, and Jobox had four to a straight. You are showing a 3 and a 10. I don't know why you would expect anyone to fold, but you didn't have many chips left, so I guess it was an okay move. But one pair in Stud is nothing. Don't expect to win with it. Starting with a premium pair is great, hitting one on fourth street isn't so great. |

Chips: 19 | | | Re: stud freeroll Got to agree (if yeltzen is correct about the order). I would have folded on 4th street if either of those hands were betting (3-3, or, 8h-5h)
Actually, I would have folded on the deal with 10c-2h-3c |

This just looks like a classic hold'em to stud hand where a big pair is overvalued. |

Chips: 19 | | | Re: stud freeroll I missed that he brought in the initial bet (and I’ve never checked out of a hand in my life). But, this one is easy to let go on 4th street. |

Yeltzen, are you the venerable Mr Reese in disguise?
.....Please say no, Chip is my all time cash guru, stud poker hero. |

I'm not, but if he said something similar, I totally agree. I'm amazed at how easy it is to multi-task and play hold'em. I love playing stud... it's my favorite game, but I have to admit that playing hold'em is much more attractive since it's so much less work. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
