It was just tooooo pretty

hows that for a flop -

hat two in the pot til the river too

I am pretty sure neither had the nut flush - or a decent FH as neither was overly aggressive in this hand, so I am pretty sure I maxed out my hand

Nice hand, but the REAL question is : How in the hell did you even call pre-flop with that hand?

I cant speak for w, but thats a marginally good starting hand in h/l omaha. decent low draws, with possible straight & flush action. its a loose call, but with 4 people or less at the table its not unreasonable.

or was question for me starting with AQs

From the looks of it, he may have been the big blind so he might have seen the flop for free or for a discount. Not positive but thats what it looks like.

yep -

three handed, BB special after PF raise to $4 (min raise, and this was typical from DB for any pot shorthanded)

Most PL Omaha high hands are playable with 4 or fewer players if there is some level of cooridination.

Shorthanded was also the reason I probably got paid off as well, as most players in this game (at Pac) would not call my river bet without something really strong fullhanded. Pacific does not allow for you to see hand histories when mucked, so I do not have any idea of the other cards but I am assuming a non nut flush and possibly a set, maybe one st8??? No FH - as I was never reraised.

ThiefDB has a clue - so he probably had another flush and he had seen me play enough to assume that non-potbets were signs of weakness from me. Eith that, or he hit a FH and was trying to keep both of us in the pot. I doubt that as he never slowplayed anything.

Betting went something like this -

check
bet by me (some underbet, maybe $6)
call/call

turn -
check/check/check (man I hoped that at least one of them woke up with something)

river - check, bet (me) - call call

I was really surprised that both guys paid me off after the board paired, but not complaining.
