sure it was play money but this is sick

It was maybe the second hand that I raised PF and he reraised with J6o? I was the short stack, of course I wasn't going to raise without a decent hand.

It was play money, playa!
If you expect people in a play money tournament to think about being the short stack and "obviously" not raising without a good hand, then who's the foo?!!?

Re: sure it was play money but this is sick

I have to go with Boris here.

Play money is to real poker as Putt-Putt is to golf; they share a lot of similarities but are almost completely different games.

So Boris,
How did you end up at PP last night and did you know that was me sitting next to you?

I did know it was you!
Obviously, I busted, as you saw. I got myself up to $90 earlier in the night, so I cashed out the $50 and kept playing with the $40, which I lost at that table. I'll take $50 free any time! I think I might be hooked on NL cash games now, though.

Re: sure it was play money but this is sick

I ended up about +$4 after about 2hrs of playing at that table.

But I only need 35 more raked hands to clear the bonus. So far I'm up about $15 which ain't great but it is free money.

Nice! I'd just sit at a table and not play any hands until I cleared!
If you dip below $50, you can't cashout (unless you already have money in there). By hey, free money is free money. There's nothing bad about it.

Re: sure it was play money but this is sick

Unfortunately my bankroll is $0 so I am limited to play money and free rolls, neither of which are real poker. At least not until you get to the last 5-10% in a freeroll.

The key is to not play there... then they give you $40 free!

Re: sure it was play money but this is sick

I haven't played at PP for about a month, after I lost my roll. Only 5 more months until they give me free money? I guess I'll stick to P* and holdempoker.com play money and freerolls until then.
