Re: Who says weak-tight is bad?

Th would have been a death hand for me, folding pp in earlier round to std. raise, couldn't do it and hitting a set, good bye table and hello rail.

Why the fold out of curiousity?

Re: Who says weak-tight is bad?

How is folding 66 to a 4xBB raise weak-tight? Unless you have a great read on the opponent, you either flop a set or you fold postflop to a continuation bet.

Limp UTG, raise UTG+1, lots of people behind me, second hand of the tournament. Pretty standard fold for me at that point with no reads.

I don't think it was weak-tight, yeltzen... but a lot of people would critisize it.

Re: Who says weak-tight is bad?

I would have called and as I stated, would have busted out probably. You could argue the play either way though as it was the 2nd hand of tourney and you had no read on UTG+1 player.

Well, they're idiots, then. Low-Middle pocket pairs are nothing but trouble without a good read.
