I know this because I had a +20 swing last night where I was up to some $65. This morning only $16 of my moniez are restricted, yet I need 300 more raked hands to clear it. | Furthermore, if you win a SnG, your restricted amount "refills". I won one and now I have $40.00 restricted, $33 available.
edit: this could all be incorrect, different bonus screens are showing me different things

Had I not gotten them so frequently I would have gone broke learning how to play. I might not have quit but I certainly would have had to spend my own money.

Once I started getting serious about limit, I went from .50/1 to $3/6 in two weeks because of them (Party & Empire). I lost it all, but still. |

I ignored it, did not play at all, and the bonus expired. Then in Oct 2005, I got another email that said they had added $100 to my bonus account, with about 45 days to clear it. That was enough incentive to get me to try playing there again, and since then I have managed to turn it into $240, grinding it out at .50/$1 LHE cash games and $6 NLHE MTT SNGs. Unfortunately, it is chump change compared to the losses I have racked up at 'stars, Full Tilt, and Doyle's Room, not to mention my early online days at Paradise (when they were the big dog). |

Just took PP's free $40 and turned it into $324 in about 1.5 hours last night at .5/1NL.
Just a SICK card rush. And EVERYTHING held up. I didn't lose a single showdown. Aces held up, Jacks flopped sets, underpairs rivered 1 card straights, Pairs outkicked hit the kicker on the turn, flush draws came home, players folded to continuation bets....
Wow, thanks for reading my no content brag post! |
