They did however give me free $25 to play in the casino so I took that over to blackjack and made the minimum bets for 25 hands until i cleared the bonus. Actually won 5 bucks playing by the book too. gotta love party's free money. |

135 hands of $1/2 NLHE
Start: $40.48
End: $41.62
Never won a showdown, won 5% of hands dealt, saw 14% of flops. Even for a nut-farmer, that's some crappy hands.

Chips: 14,009 | | | Re: Free money from Party Poker I've been playing regularly on Party, every since the start of the "May On-Line Challenge." I sat down last night at about 10pm at a $1/2 NL table. My first table was awesome, and full of players sitting on about $40 to $100. I was stacking players (at $40 or $50 a pop) when they were calling with weakish hands (like Yeltsin's separate post about how 1 and 2 pair hands are often not that great...).
I had no idea that this bonus was being run, but that explains things. If you want to take advantage, I recommend starting at a 10-seat table that only has 2 or 3 players -- it seemed like the players who buy in short (on the bonus money) are much more likely to sit at a short-handed table that is not already full of players with $300+ stacks. And, after I built up my stack, I think this shut down some of the action... |

Put $11 into a SnG and busted out short of the money. Dropped the rest on a $0.50/$1 NL table. Played really tight and didn't get too many hands worth limping with let alone raising with. That and there were a couple of big stacks that would call a pre-flop raise and then re-raise you all in on the flop after a continuation bet. Got back to about even before I quit, but I guess I'll need to be more selective about which table I pick in the future if I want to make something of this. |

I know this because I had a +20 swing last night where I was up to some $65. This morning only $16 of my moniez are restricted, yet I need 300 more raked hands to clear it.
