Letting people draw on you when you have the nuts and they have drawing hands is the absolute worst thing you can do in the game. It may be good for building a pot in HE, but in O8, it's a good way to go broke. | A raise on the flop is debatable depending on one's style. It would also depend on the reads/respect given to the other players. You have top set but there are some many cards that hurt your plus you are holding 1 of your outs (4). If you play an aggressive, high variance style, 1/2 pot or pot the flop. For tighter style, go passive till the turn and let someone else bet here. I probably would have potted the turn here but its debatable. |

Chips: 28 | | | Re: PLO8 opinions on my play here I made that recommendation based on the play described by the author (i.e. Horrible players at the table). Therefore, I bet out after the flop. If there's a decent player or two, I might hold off until the turn.

Chips: 13 | | | Re: PLO8 opinions on my play here Actually, the reason I didn't pot the Turn was my call covered two of them and I was expecting SB to fold because he has a tighter image than the others. I guess that if I had pushed here, I could have chased out my only real threat who was better than the others and chasing a low only. |

Chips: 5,871 | | | Re: PLO8 opinions on my play here Hard to believe with 4 players allin on the turn, no one had a low; that's just insane. Make sure you look these folks up in the future. The SB dude is just nuts (and not the good kind). Raising OOP PF with A345 with the 45 suited and then check/reraising all-in on the turn with bottom 2 and 2nd nut low draw; makes you wish P* supported some sort of a buddy list like UB.

Definitely not worth using for keeping track of fish. Though the PLO8 community at P* isn't too large so its easier to keep track of people. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
