My First P* Tournament!

Hi Everyone-

I decided to take a break and try my first P* tournament. It starts in a minute...I went in big...$1 buying +$.10!

I better sit out for a while, so you don't all call me a donkey when you see what place I come in!

the micro's like that are so incredibly donk-filled I would suggest playing VERY tightly at first... don't even "play poker" until 50/100 and you'll probably do much better.

Hopefully you'll get someone to double you up by then, if not try to have 2k chips

Once you gain experience with the level of play in these, you'll be in a good position to take advantage of said play and can often enter the second hour with 5k+ chips (or bust trying).

FT is usually 4.5-5 hours into it, depending on # of entrants.

4-5 hours?! Whoa...I figured it would go much quicker! I got a AK diamond and then the next hand AA, so I couldn't sit out like I planned!

Went from 1500 to 2800 chips, and now it's time to go back to sleep.

Sweet...played another hand. I was bb, Q3 spades. Flop comes 3 spade spade, Turn Q, river spade. Won with the flush. I'm 67th out of 547. (768 entries).

I surely should walk away from the computer for a while!

After some turns for the worse, I'm now 258 of 282. You better look quickly because I might not be around much longer! Tourney 28499934 (table 3 right now).

I was almost gone after I sent the last message...went all in with AK off suit...it was just me and the big blind. He called with J6 off. He nearly pulled off a straight, but luckily the river didn't help him! 195 of 239...holding on to my chip and chair for now!
