What table type do you like to play online?

Online, what table type do you like to play and why?

I personally like to play full tables only. I seem to be a bit too tight when I play 6 handed and the blinds eat up my chips faster.

Why not go with a larger starting stack when you only have a small group ?

I enjoy the middle, 5-7 player tables. 9-handed you have to be so much more selective and cautious. In 6-handed, you can raise with A9o all day long. In 9-handed, you fold A9 all day long unless you're in late position. I look at 6-handed as a chance for some extra freedom and flexibility, you have to make more moves and go after more pots in shorter settings.

I really like playing 4-handed with a big stack in cash games, also. I really push myself to close people down.

short handed, don't have to worry about more players coming over the top of me.

In the weekly home game, we usually have seven or eight people, sometimes as few as six or as many as ten. For this reason, we go with one table so I chose the "full table" poll option.

Whoops. Didn't see the "online" part when I first responded.

I prefer a ten-handed game online as well.

My main cash game is 6 handed limit.

I usually play 1/2 to 3/6 at pacific.

I like the smaller tables, as the play (at least on Pacific ) is pretty poor overall. The fish tend to "school" a lot more at the bigger tables (you end up playing against 5-6 junk players in any hand vs 2-3 at the shorthanded tables. While the swings are bigger at the SH tables due to playing more hands, the skill aspect seems to take over more often. You have to depend less on the monster draw taking the big pot.

I can also play more aggressively at the 6 player tables.

I play mostly full ring. I just feel like it suits my game the best.
