I am more impressed with Barry Greenstein joining P* than anything else. He's one of the biggest names ever and for him to sign on gives the site a lot more credibility. Raymer has two great results in his lifetime, but he still makes insanely loose plays. Greenstein boosts the appeal of this site a lot in my opinion. |

It looks like Times Roman or something, and it gives the impression that they always meant to fix it later, but never quite got round to it.
Resizable windows are good though. |

I've been using the beta for a little while now - mostly for the Hyper-Simple theme with the Simplified deck. It's great I mostly only play one table, sometimes two, so resizable windows aren't that big a deal to me although that's cool too.

To me it just says they ponied up enough money to hire him/her as a spokespro. Doesn't really add anything to their credibility in my eyes. Just take a look at what happened with Daniel & T.J. and poker mountain. Quote: |

It doesn't necessarily mean anything to advanced players or older customers, but to the casual novice, these things may impress them. Most people playing online poker are doing it for entertainment or the novelty of it. I certainly think Greenstein's image can gain them new accounts with the average, casual player. Greenstein is considered a philanthropist and in terms of image, this bodes well for P* in my opinion. I think Greenstein's presence will generate new accounts with casual players and novices.
I don't know anything about 'poker mountain', fill me in. |
