Just have to share this one....high stakes poker today on a 10 cent single table tournament...

I was down to literally 5 chips left with the big blind next. The person who bet only bet enough to leave me with 5 chips and then checked it down. I had nothing anyway. Lost that hand.

Big blind now and I'm all in with 5 chips. There are 5 people left at the table.

Won the hand with ace high. Now have 20 chips.

Small blind again all in by force. Won that hand and now have 80 chips.



Forgo the suspense...

I went on to come all the way back and win the table! With only 5 chips left and I won the darn table! Now that was fun.

That's my favorite thing to do. You feel like you conquored Mt. Everest when you come back like that. It's especially nice if folks are calling you a donk for getting way down there, it's so nice taking them out.

Yep, and more fun to beat out the guy who donked me to begin with....played one of those 999 person $50 freerolls tonight and flopped A8 A8x and got knocked out by a flush on the river. Was in 10th chip position at the time, arghhh. Finished in 27th right on the money cutoff. Whew, 3 hours play for 50 cents. whooo hooo.

Nice work. It is true about a chip and a chair. I have never done it in poker but I have done it a few times at blackjack when I was down to one bet left and came back to show a profit.
