How passive is this

I was the big stack when we got 4 handed - and nobody was "critical". I think that they each had ~ 1200-1500 in chips left.

the 3195 pot was when I knocked out the 5th player

w go to work

you can tell when I started playing EVERY hand (AK)

something like 25 raises in a row (Stuey would have been so proud) except for my BB, which I got for free every time

these guys were so weak - a few times, they were down to like 100 or less after posting the 100 sb - and still folded

the pots that I lost - were allins

I did not mind losing them - as they kept the 4 handed thing going so I could pull all the chips off of the table.

I wish these players were at more of my tables

Gotta love it when you get that table where everyone is afraid to lose their money!

Re: How passive is this

Yeah that's what I love about the low buyin SNGs. It seems not many of them know how to play shorthanded/on the bubble.

I do not necessarily agree with this - to me the $20 SnGs are "medium" as far as buyin (just a manner of opinion). Decent skills for some - but enough fish to make it beatable. It is rare to see this level of passiveness all together. Stealing is one thing, but these guys let me run all over the table.

They would not even open raise when I was not UTG.

My mistake I must have misread and thought it was a $10 +1 SNG.

What's your ROI like at the $20 +2s?

Why can't I ever find a table like this?

Re: How passive is this

Geez that is some weak play.

The other night I played a $5 SNG with two tight-a$$ players and 1 LAG during bubble time. An interesting mix.

The LAG was passive too. He would only min raise or min bet on the flop to take the pots. The other guys just folded and I was the only one to play back at him. He was also very loose calling preflop raises...showing down T2o, 85o, Q8o. He would call a preflop raise make min bet steal and fold to a reraise or a big bet.

So it was vicious cycle of LAG stealing from tight players, me stealing from the LAG, and the tighties catching enough hands to stay in. That and the LAG hit a big flop against me to stay alive.

Finally the LAG hit another big hand to bust me out when the blinds had gotten so big I was pretty much pot committed.

Re: How passive is this

haha, what an awesome screenshot. I've never had the balls to raise every single hand although I've had some tables it probably would have worked with.

It took me a few hands after we hit four handed to realize thatthey were playing THAT tight. After the big green patch starts, I raised every hand that I was in. Could not help it - they always FOLDED. I just kept raising and laughing for like 10 minutes.

D3scride - I honestly do not know. I do win at them consistently (my pokertracker is busted right now so I cannot see how much, but I definately am in the black) as I use this cash to fund my bigger tournament "addiction" (not huge, but like $20-$50 MTT on occasion). They are similar to the $10 ones in skill - but you need to work a little harder to get the chips. The play is not all that much better- but the players hit that fold button a little more often.

Re: How passive is this

I've been running bad (real bad) in my 180 @ $22 tournaments so I 4 table sets of 9 @ $16 turbo SnG's to blow off steam. Holy bad players. I might come join you in the 9 @ $22's, if they play even close to the same then the longer structure should offset the additional rake for me.

I mean, these people are BAD but that might just be the "I learned something in the last 6 months" syndrome we've all gone through with online poker.... you know, "Wow, I thought I was good 6 months ago but now when I look at the HH's I was a supa-donk!"

Hm, after writing it down I hope it's just that syndrome.
