Re: Anyone Awake (Monday Night) - on the road to the final table

At the break - just after the money bubble burst

71K in chips

2nd place has 43K

26 left

stats

During current Omaha H/L session you were dealt 171 hands and saw flop:
- 17 out of 21 times while in big blind (80%)
- 7 out of 19 times while in small blind (36%)
- 38 out of 131 times in other positions (29%)
- a total of 62 out of 171 (36%)
Pots won at showdown - 32 of 32 (100%)
Pots won without showdown - 12

my pots won stat is unreal for o8 - I had a piece of almost every flop - and (so far) have only been quartered once

Re: Anyone Awake (Monday Night) - on the road to the final table

You did great, but the 8k bet on the river kinda did you in. 35bucks for 4hours of play kinda hurts, but knowing you beat around 260+ players in a limit game is awesome feeling..

makes me want to play a tournament now :-s

Re: Anyone Awake (Monday Night) - on the road to the final table

aaarrrgggghhhhh

out in tenth

went from just monster cards to card dead from 27 players on down

Omar joined the table - and as soon as we said hi it went downhill. I hit a set on the next hand that did not hold - and then had back to back counterfeit hands that started good and went way downhill.

Final hand - 234Q (q suited). Not a monster - but pretty good shorthanded. I raise and getr 2 callers.

flop is Axx (I had a low draw but do not remember the exact cards).

I had an uncounterfeitable low and was pretty much pot comitted.

full board ended up like A8TQQ.

Guy flips up TT to take the pot and take me out.

thanks to those who stopped by to say hi

Re: Anyone Awake (Monday Night) - on the road to the final table

That was nasty, I feel frustrated after watching that. You had that calling station ready to risk 1/8, 1/6th of his stack pre-flop every single hand, then he's calling you down to make a flush, then he's swiping up the low hand---nasty. I couldn't believe he didn't reraise on the river once when he had the nuts, he just called with a nut boat. He was a moron. That Shadow guy was dreadful. Comparatively speaking, he makes Lance Funston look like Johnny Moss.
