Guy was rasing a lot preflop.
So i figured the suited 1 gapper wasn't horrible.

I then thought I can bet and maybe scoop, but he raised giving me 3 to 1 on a 9 outer so i said what the hell.

Then the 6 gave me 5 more out so i pushed...

28% to hit my flush IF he calls. If he folds I win it outright.

OK, I'll chime in...

I think your logic behind the push is just horrible. This flop is just bad for your hand. After his raise on the flop, what are you beating that he would not call?

What is he raising the flop with --
flush draw (which certainly beats yours, and he's also ahead now)
set (so your 6 gives him a boat)
pair - you're a 7:3 dog
overpair - you're a 7:3 dog
mid-range hit like QT, JT, J9, J8, T9, T8, T7 -- certain hands here kill more of your outs

The point is, he's very likely calling, and certain of his possible hands have you way behind.

Man, you bet over $400 REAL money with that garbage? No wonder I can't get past 24th place in our CT tourney's....I play basically only A10 and better, pairs no lower than JJ, see the flop only 15 % of all hands played ,my usual stats and I still get busted even with Aces by a higher kicker....

A $400 bet with 4 6 ???? You've been listening to Mike Sexton much too often thinking those guys last night betting with 5-2 is the right move.

I'm thinking of trying to take back all my plus reps I've given you just because you play like that
