Paradise Poker?

Ok, have been thinking of doing the PSO promo for a set of NJ or maybe upgrade to the AB. After searching the forums for a couple of hours, everybody seems to agree that Party is the easiest to clear. My only problem is that I already have a real money account there. My questions are:
Is Paradise the 2nd easiest to clear? If not which is.

and if I do Paradise, I should deposit $400 to get the $100 bonus right?

last one, which cash games would I play to clear the requirements the fastest?

Re: Paradise Poker?

You have everything right. Paradise would be the 2nd best site for the PSO NJ promo. Another reason that it is good is that it is not an upgrade site for PSO points.

Deposit $400 for bonus of $100 which will clear at same time as PSO bonus. A raked hand is count if rake is $.25 and you can fold preflop. The best level to play with minimum risk would be .50/1.00 limit, if pot is raked, it will count as raked hand.

Calibre or play at .50/1.00 limit is about same as Party, you just need to play 1000 rake hands vs 250 for Party. There are sites such as Absolute, PokerRoom wihch will clear faster but you will have to play at least 2/4 level.

Hope this helps

Re: Paradise Poker?

the .50/1 game is pretty soft. just play by the book and clear your bonus and you'll come out up.

Re: Paradise Poker?

yeah, the 50./1 is a soft game. the stud and stud 8 is very soft at that limit. thats usually where i hang out . it might take a little while to make the $100 bonus but if you know either of those games, you will definately come out on top. good luck and happy hunting

thanks for the tip, took me about 5hrs to finish up the remaining 750 points.

After finishing, I checked with PSO and it shows "No active promotions" and says I have no points. I signed up yesterday, does it take a couple of days for it to get processed and show up on PSO? Hate to think I did all that work for nothing....

If your "My PSO" shows no active promo then you did not complete the PSO process. Go back to PSO and go thru the steps and fill out the form. If you have problems, post in the PSO support forum. You should be ok once your complete the PSO form.
