So I've been trying to clear a bonus at Full Tilt playing 50¢/$1 limit, and talk about a completely different player base from Party! Can you say TIGHT? At first I tried playing my usual PP style, and was getting destroyed. These folks play like its $5/$10 or something. Anyone else notice this? It has improved my game a bit and is more mentally challenging, though. It makes me wonder why anyone would continue to play at Full Tilt, when much easier games are to be had at Party. Kind of sucks that a site that attracts good players isn't doing as well as the one that all the donks play at.

Aside from the unfortunate server crashes a couple months back, ftp is doing fine. And I'd rather deal with the known quantities at FTP than the Schools of Fish at Party that school you to death, like a bad Alfred Hitchcock adaptation.
Party may be more +EV (though I have a pet theory that it isnt) but the Bingo-like play aint worth the aggro.
Party IS MORE +EV. For me Poker Tracker has Party at 25% better than the tight sites. I know that it seems that a player gets suckout all the time at Party but I can't argue with PT figures.
Some people's styles are more suited for a tight, conservative, predictable game. Other's are more tailored towards loose passive or (preferably) loose agressive games. There is more money to be made in LAG poker than anywhere else but the swings are BRUTAL (300BB is not enough of a 'roll... 600 or preferably 1000 is more like it). If a players psych makeup or playing style isn't compatible they will lose long term. Those players should definitely seek out games that fit THIER style, not the style that is espoused in any one book or on any particular forum.
