UB Question

My AC trip got the poker fire burning again, so I made a deposit to UB today since I still had $200 of bonus to clear. After I made the deposit, I was told that I qualified for some $100 Neteller bonus. Anyone know what this was about? I'm not complaining, but I didn't see anything advertised for it. Do they just like me that much because of my sparkling personality?

Re: UB Question

That would be my guess!

FYI, I found clearing the bonus there wasn't too horrible if you played tables with decent limits. Seems to me I played alot of crazy pineapple h/l either .5/1 or 1/2. If you knew anything about playing h/l then you could make some money on this game, since about 75% of the players were clueless.

Well, I decided this time that if I was going to clear the bonus, I would pony up the money and play $2/4. I played for like 2 hours today and cleared over $20, so it shouldn't take long now.

Re: UB Question

That's not bad at all then. How's the players at 2/4? (Holdem I assume?) Sharky or baity?

It's still tight compared to PP, but it's very loose for UB standards. Lots of calling preflop, and lots of calling with small pairs even when there are overcards. Also a ton of calling postflop with just overcards.

Re: UB Question

Hmm, that sounds pretty loose for an other-than-PP site.

The real question now is, do the players there appreciate your humor as much as we do here?

Hahaha not at all!
UB is one of the biggest "whiner" sites out there. Every time there is a bad beat, there's 50 lines of conversation between the two. So you know I'm needling the whiner as much as possible.

LMAO, that's great! I may have to come watch your table some time. Are you Yeltzen there too?

Haha, sure am! I'm usually at 3 tables at a time. So come to one and hope for a bad beat.
I had such a good morning there today, I'm afraid to ruin it by playing tonight.

Re: UB Question

How much tighter is UB than PP approximately? I am thinking of joining UB for rakeback thru PSO.
