I have seen a few abbreviations used here that I do not know what they mean. Specifically UTG. What does this and other abbreviations mean?

UTG = Under the Gun - typically its used to describe the first persons action after the posting of the small blind (SB) / Big Blind (BB)... I've seen it used to describe the current person in action - but i dont know if thats 100% correct.

other terms you may see (regarding table position):

MP1 MP2 refers to the middle positions between the blings utg and the button

CO or Cut-off refers to the cut off seat, second best postition only to the button itself

(dare i say) 2+2 i think has a FaQ with all the abbrev's they use..
