Angry UPDATED WITH MAJOR RANT: So that's it for online poker tonight, ENTER AT OWN RISK

See below, not much else to say; the hands were about 2.5 minutes apart. Yea they are tough, maybe even a bad beat for the first one but it still sucks.

Anyone up for a game of NL Go Fish, .05/.10 stakes.

Re: So that's it for online poker tonight

ouch and ouch.

i lived your first scenario in an MTT on stars a while back. my KK vs. his JJ, for an $800,000 pot. running spades gave him the flush, sending me out it 20th place out of $1,300 +

pretty much nothing you can do about the 2nd one either, except (as you said) not been in the pot. but you were still a big favorite when the money went in, so you can't feel too bad.

better luck,
gw-

Re: So that's it for online poker tonight

Okay this just gets worse so make sure to look at both hands below. I was still tilting a bit so probably a bad call on my part with the next hand, I put him on a set but I'm still tilting so what the hell.

Very next hand, you wont believe what I go all in with and win. I guess the secret is to play CRAP and get lucky.

FCUK POKER at the moment.

Re: So that's it for online poker tonight

At the micro limits, players will go in with anything. In one of the books that I read, it is call hit to win. As you move up in limits, those will slowly do down but even at up to 2/4, it is still hit to win. You need the best hand at the river to win.

My wife plays that level online and I cringe every time I watch her play. I try not to watch any more. It is so painful.

Re: So that's it for online poker tonight

What is really annoying is the play money tournaments, like half the table goes all in on the first hand. They're basically just giving their chips away, to one person.

Re: UPDATED WITH MAJOR RANT: So that's it for online poker tonight, ENTER AT OWN RISK

Apologize for wasting cyberspace but was having a bad night with good cards. Dropped $102 at .25/.50 NLHE in about 77 hands in 40mins. Most of them were good calls or bets just no luck on my side.

Till tonight.

The first one blows. It didn't cost you that much, though. Even if he didn't go all in preflop, it'd be hard for him not to go all in on that flop.

The second one, I mean... what do you want the guy to do? He's not going to fold the second set. It sucks, but he did have the best hand to start with.

I not sure what your logic is here for thinking he should go all-in on that flop. Late in a tournament it might be an option but in a cash game after I raised PF and pot size bet on the flop; no maka sense to me. He's got $2 in the pot, 2 overcards on the flop, a possible flush draw, I'm showing strength PF and flop so what the hell he'll throw in his last $11.

I have no problem with his play, I'm just venting on my bad run of cards. I probably wouldn't have played his hand any differently.

Just had a TILTrfic run of cards last night.

Ooops I read that hand wrong. I thought you guys went all in preflop. He's an idiot.
