I thought I was all set with my Kings. I thought Quads were good first royal ever.

Was getting sucked out on all day losing with my aces and kings and anything else i was way ahead on to 9 10 suited and a lot worse.
I thought my image at the table at the time was very tight, and the table was very loose. Any 2 cards were good at this table apparently, but I didn't want to raise to much and force out to many. So 4 times the BB and its calling time for 2 of them.

Here is how it goes:

Real Money Ring Game
Table Name Hand ID Game Stakes
Wild At Heart 4915023-79179 Holdem No Limit $0.25/$0.50
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Hand Start.
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 1 : babujit has $22.14
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 2 : jpetey has $13.04
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 3 : Phillip343 has $15.82
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 4 : idider has $6.42
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 5 : chrishorne has $11.62
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : Seat 6 : c.carpenter has $29
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : chrishorne is the dealer.
[Feb 2 18:46:31] : c.carpenter posted small blind.
[Feb 2 18:46:32] : babujit posted big blind.
[Feb 2 18:46:32] : Game [79179] started with 6 players.
[Feb 2 18:46:32] : Dealing Hole Cards.
[Feb 2 18:46:32] : Seat 1 : babujit has Kc Ks
[Feb 2 18:46:33] : jpetey called $0.50
[Feb 2 18:46:34] : Phillip343 called $0.50
[Feb 2 18:46:35] : idider folded.
[Feb 2 18:46:36] : chrishorne folded.
[Feb 2 18:46:36] : c.carpenter called $0.25
[Feb 2 18:46:40] : babujit raised $2
[Feb 2 18:46:41] : jpetey folded.
[Feb 2 18:46:43] : Phillip343 called $2
[Feb 2 18:46:44] : c.carpenter called $2
[Feb 2 18:46:44] : Dealing flop.
[Feb 2 18:46:44] : Board cards [Jh 2h Tc]
[Feb 2 18:46:46] : c.carpenter checked.

So far so good right should I be doing anything different pretty text book I thought.
What do you think?
Whats my next move?

Re: I thought I was all set with my Kings.

Yea, I would bet 4-5 and hopefully take down the pot right there. If you do get a caller, depending on the turn I would move in.

Re: I thought I was all set with my Kings.

Gotta bet it.

This is a fairly vulernable flop. If possible - you want to take it done right NOW. If not - then you need to isolate one player and get them all in on the flop. Make any future decisions easy.

Your worries right now are TJ, flush, and st8 draws. (along with TT and JJ - but unless this is a very pasisve table, I would have expected preflop raises from them).

Re: I thought I was all set with my Kings.

Well I was thinking the same as you guys so here is what happens before the turn.
I thought looking good do not mind a hand staying with me, but do not want them all in so I bet half the pot $4.

[Feb 2 18:46:49] : babujit bet $4
[Feb 2 18:46:54] : Phillip343 called $4 and raised $9.32 and is All-in
[Feb 2 18:46:54] : c.carpenter folded.
[Feb 2 18:46:55] : babujit called $9.32
[Feb 2 18:46:56] : Showdown!
[Feb 2 18:46:56] : Seat 1 : babujit has Kc Ks
[Feb 2 18:46:57] : Seat 1 : babujit has Kc Ks
[Feb 2 18:46:57] : Seat 3 : Phillip343 has 2d 2c
So we are both all in whats he doing playing deuces?
I couldn't believe it, we thats a lie I can believe it but it still doesn't make it right.
Turn and River are on there way not looking good.
Pretty far behind and need runner runner Need 2 jacks 2 tens or 2 kings, man this sucks.
Guess what happened?
Scroll down

Turn comes king of hearts.

Great the guy has a boat to my trips, kinda steaming at this point that the guy called with 2's.
Scroll ...

And finally the River.
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : Board cards [Jh 2h Tc Kh Kd]
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : Seat 3 : Phillip343 has 2d 2c
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : Phillip343 has Full House : 2s full of Kings
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : Seat 1 : babujit has Kc Ks
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : babujit has Four of a kind: Kings
[Feb 2 18:47:01] : babujit wins $32.91 with Four of a kind: Kings
[Feb 2 18:47:03] : babujit : oh
[Feb 2 18:47:04] : chrishorne : ouch
[Feb 2 18:47:08] : babujit : finally get a break
[Feb 2 18:47:08] : Hand is over.

My best hand ever I think and I'll take it.

Re: I thought I was all set with my Kings.

Nice hand!!

FYI, the only street you were behind was the flop. Unless I'm really reading something wrong you were ahead set over set on the turn and just improved to quads on the river to rub it in!

Yea, once the king hit on the turn, you had his trip 2's beat with trip K's, unless I read it wrong

He had full house (four st.) when I had trip kings (4th st.).
Beat him only on the river with quads over boat.
