I just had my most exciting hand yet. Playing a NLHE SNG at pokerstars, down to three people. I was dealt 2c 7d in the SB. The button raised to 600 (4x BB) I thought about it for a few seconds and called. Flop comes 4h 2s 7s. The button bets 800, I go all in (have him covered by about 1000) he calls. His cards turn over, 10c Jc. Turn comes 7h, river is 8s. It was amazing. I went on to take the other guy out a couple hands later.
nice hammer!
(BTW, it looks to me like the J10 was on the button and you were in the SB)
I can't believe he called with J10. How did he make it that far in the game if he played like that?

oops, I was doing the play-by-play from memory and then added the picture, guess I should have been looking at it while typing.
He had been making similar plays, betting really big with a maybe Q high. The fact that it was a play money might have had something to do with it.
Sure, THE HAMMER is cool when you bet out with it and scare others off or you hit while seeing a free flop, but you made one crazy call there IMO. Good luck with that in the future...
You have the super aggressive player in the best position (immediately to your right), why not wait until you have a good hand?
He had been making that exact same pre-flop raise every hand for 5-10 hands with absolutely nothing. If I hadn't gotten anything on the flop I was going to check/fold. Turns out I made two pair on the flop so obviously I wasn't going to fold.
