Chips: 7,134 | | | What the hell?!?!? (Party Poker) I'm playing in a MTT and the blinds are 300/600. I'm the BB. Someone goes all in for 680 and 3 people call. It gets to me and says I can fold or call 595. What the hell? So I figured it was messed up and meant to say call 80, so I call. But it makes me call 595 more? What the hell is going on? |

It has happened to me before, where I am distracted for a second and hit the 'call' button without really taking notice of what is going on.....if you were paying attention and that happened with no raise I would have taken a quick screenshot before calling.
CTRL + PRT SCRN has saved me a lot in the past and while it does little good for you now, if it happens again get a screenshot for customer support because that is BS.

(Party Poker) Lets see, I think since he had more than the BB, he was technically raising and to call the raise, the next in line would have to put in the minimum possible raise amount which would be another 600. IF nobody else called, he'd get 520 returned to him, BUT since he got another caller, everyone else has to call the MIN raise amount for that blind level. Some places enforce this rule and some don't. I'm surprised party does.
More important, did you win the hand?

Finally I figured out it happened because I was browsing the web, which sucks I can't do that but I figured a way to get around it, but I dont browse as much as I did. Now I just pop a dvd in or watch some tv. |

I looked to see where the reraise was, but everyone had 680 in front of them. Unfortunately, it was a speed yourney, so I didn't have time to cap it. I lost, obviously, or I wouldn't be crying! |

A live charity tournament I play in occassionally has the rule I mentioned above in their game. First time they brought it up they got alot of flack from everyone about how they've never seen that rule online. They didn't back down though. Quote: |

More important, did you win the hand? | Hi JM,
I don't think Party follows that rule with the allin Short Stack, but eitherway, I think what Yeltzy is saying is that he got ripped off some chips (the software made a mistake). He was in the BB, so he already had 600 chips in the pot and since the shortie went all-in with 680, the other players called the 680 (not raising it to 1200) and all Yeltzen should have had to do was to call 80. Is that right, Yelz? If that's rights, that's messed up.
